Building the Central Channel: The Soul Does the Work

What Is the Central Channel?
Figure 4 - Triangulation Path Used by the Soul Star to Build the Central Channel
Figure 4 — The triangulation path used by the Soul Star to build the Central Channel and create the substitute energy centers.

The Central Channel is a bridge of energy and consciousness between highest spirit and lowest matter — a conduit through which the life of the Spirit and the consciousness of the Soul flows. It is also known as the Rainbow Bridge or the Antahkarana (meaning "inner ear" or "internal organ of consciousness").

When the Central Channel is enlarged to at least one inch in diameter, a rainbow-colored flow of energy becomes clairvoyantly visible within it — which is the origin of the name Rainbow Bridge. The lower portion of this bridge, from the crown center to the base of the spine, is called the sushumna. The chakras are normally located along the sushumna channel and are stimulated into greater awakening as the Rainbow Bridge develops.

The Five Strands of the Completed Antahkarana

The completed antahkarana contains five strands of energy. Two are put down by the Higher Self. The remaining three must be consciously built by you — the personality. When you complete this work, you become a conscious creator.

From the Higher Self — Thread 1 The Life Thread (Sutratma)
Also known as the silver cord or sutratma (thread of the atma). Extends from the Monad — the spark of the One Life within — to the physical permanent atom of the heart.
From the Higher Self — Thread 2 The Consciousness Thread
Extends from the Soul to the pineal gland in the head. This is why the pineal gland is known as the seat of the Soul.
Built by the Personality — Threads 3, 4 & 5 The Creative Thread
Collectively, the three strands projected upward in consciousness by you. These must be consciously constructed. Completing them makes you a conscious co-creator with the Soul.
Why the Channel Is Already Present — But Blocked

The Central Channel already exists in the body. However, it is clogged with low-grade energies relating to emotional and mental complexes carried over from past lifetimes. As a result of this heavy load of blockages in the aura, the chakras have been pushed outside of the body and are no longer located along the Central Channel.

The energy centers referenced in Figure 4 are therefore not the chakras themselves but substitute sensitive points standing in for them. Once the emotional and mental complexes are cleared from the body, the chakras will move back into their normal positions along the Central Channel. The Rainbow Bridge authors call these distortions external patterns (visible in the aura and on the surface of the body) and internal patterns (blockages inside the body that interfere with organ function).

The building of the Central Vertical Channel is both a personal work and a planetary service. The substance of the body you ensoul as an individual is part of the body of the planet. The planet is a living entity with a consciousness — its intelligence aspect is called the Planetary Logos. Your Central Channel forms part of the Central Channel of the Planetary Logos.

Important Warning — Read Before Starting

Once you begin building the Central Channel, you cannot stop partway through without adverse consequences. Because the channel is initially clogged with psychic debris, stopping midway — say, at the solar plexus — causes Soul energy to enter the body and congest at that point, producing physical disease.

The authors of Rainbow Bridge I describe a Zen initiate who unconsciously built the Central Channel using Zen techniques only to the solar plexus level, resulting in congestion and decades of suffering. She was cured only when she completed the Rainbow Bridge work all the way down to the Earth Star — six inches below the feet.

If you cannot commit 15–20 minutes per day for the approximately two months required to build the channel, plus six to eight weeks to widen it — postpone starting until you can.

How to Build the Central Channel — Step by Step
1
Invoke the Soul. Speak each line of the Soul Mantram aloud. Pause after each line to feel the downpour of light. From this point on, act as if you are the Soul as you perform the following steps.
2
Optional group link (recommended). If working with a Rainbow Bridge group, link Soul Star to Soul Star with your group members — whether physically present or not. The group link adds power to your personal process. You may also link to the Spiritual Hierarchy or any fully enlightened spiritual master or saint with which you are affiliated — Christ / Lord Maitreya, Buddha, Krishna, Shiva, Imam Mahdi, etc.
3
Focus in the Soul Star. Place your attention in the Soul Star, six inches above the head. Feel its radiance and imagine it shining as bright as the Sun. In time you will actually feel this radiance directly.
4
Perform the triangulation. Mentally move the Soul Star diagonally forward to a position just in front of the eyes. Then move it straight into the center of the head, and slowly move the Soul Star straight upward to its normal position six inches above the head. Repeat three or four more times (see Figure 4). In the first two weeks, form only the first triangle — the one involving the center between the eyes. Move the Soul Star slowly and deliberately — it is literally burning away thought forms and emotional blockages to open the channel. Video: Building the Central Channel
5
End with the Spiritual Whirlwind / Etheric Vortex. Always close each session by invoking the Vortex to clear loose debris from the aura. Do the vortex for about 5 minutes. Video: The Vortex
Video: Building the Central Channel Using Triangulation

The following video by Ron Tiggle demonstrates the triangulation technique described in Step 4 above — how the Soul Star is mentally moved through the triangulation path to open and build the Central Channel.

Week-by-Week Schedule — Working Down the Channel

After the first triangle (center between the eyes) is established in weeks 1–2, proceed through the sensitive points shown in Figure 4 at the following pace:

Weeks 1–2
First triangle only — center between the eyes (ajna center area). Move slowly; allow the Soul Star to burn through blockages.
Week 3
Add the throat center and the heart center. Do 3–4 sessions on the throat, then 3–4 days on the heart.
Week 4
Add the solar plexus.
Week 5
Add the sacral center.
Week 6
Add the base of the spine.
Weeks 7+
Add one or two remaining points per week — the knees, soles of the feet, and finally the Earth Star (six inches below the feet) — until all triangles are complete and the Central Channel is fully anchored to the Earth.
Resource: Getting Your Central Channel Checked

Chloe Folan has been assessing students' progress in the Rainbow Bridge Techniques for a number of years, guiding people nationally and internationally through the process. She has extended perception and is able to clairvoyantly view the aura — including the Soul Star — in person or through remote viewing (phone, Skype, Zoom, or simply by connecting through your name).

Her Rainbow Bridge Progress readings cover: the condition of the Central Channel, the weaving of the Antahkarana threads, the clearing of external and internal patterns, and more. Specialized readings may also include career, financial, and relationship inquiries. You can contact Chloe obligation-free with queries before booking.
